Reconstitution Recommendation: Reconstitute using sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. Slowly inject the solvent along the bottle wall, gently rotating or tilting to mix. Vigorous shaking or vortexing is strictly prohibited to avoid peptide aggregation and denaturation.
Concentration Calculation Example: 2 mg PEG-MGF added to 2 mL sterile water yields a final concentration of 1,000 mcg/mL. On the U-100 insulin injector, 20 units (0.20 mL) correspond to a dose of 200 mcg.
