2. Dissolving and Addition Recommendations
Pure powder has amphiphilic palmitoyl chains: direct addition of large amounts of water is not recommended. It can be pre-dissolved with propylene glycol/butanediol/ethanol/1,3-propanediol at 40–50℃ with gentle stirring (1:2–1:5 w/w), then added to the aqueous or gel phase during the emulsification cooling phase (<40℃).
For research recombination, sterile water/DMSO can be used as a dissolving agent, but cosmetic production must comply with INCI and hygiene regulations.
