For short-term storage (a few weeks to one or two months), refrigeration at 2–8°C is acceptable, but prolonged exposure to room temperature, light, or moisture is detrimental.
After Reconstitution: Immediately refrigerate at 2–8°C. Freezing is absolutely prohibited (ice crystals will directly puncture the ring structure). Use within 15–30 days if possible. If possible, aliquot and store at -80°C with a BSA preservative, but do not attempt freeze-thaw cycles in ordinary laboratories.
Precautions
Reconstitution requires extreme gentleness: After removing from cold storage, allow to reach room temperature to prevent condensation backflow. Slowly slide the solvent along the bottle wall, gently swirl/roll to dissolve. Vigorous shaking/Vortexing is strictly prohibited, as the foaming shear force will break down the cyclic peptide structure. Use sterile or antibacterial water; discard immediately if it appears cloudy, discolored, or has suspended particles.
